The proposed redevelopment will feature over 1.7 acres of open space. Plans include a community green for relaxing and public activities like small concerts. The new multi-use trail and on-site Summit Bike Share station will provide easy access to explore town and the trail network. The adjacent Fresh Market transit stop will take riders from Deer Valley to Kimball Junction. Onsite, the south promenade will host shops, restaurants, office and meeting spaces and a public rooftop bar and restaurant with mountain views.

The hotel property has been owned by Singerman Real Estate since 2013. Singerman invested over $10 million upgrading the property to meet Hilton Hotels & Resorts standards, and the hotel has operated under the DoubleTree by Hilton brand since 2014. The franchise agreement is scheduled for renewal in late 2024, providing an opportunity for ownership to assess all potential brand affiliations for the new property should a redevelopment be approved by the Park City Planning Commission.
